Allegiant Air has announced the introduction of five new nonstop routes aimed at connecting underserved cities to popular vacation destinations in Florida. The announcement was made on X, a social media platform.

According to Allegiant Air's press release via PR Newswire, the airline unveiled these new routes across eight cities nationwide, highlighting Huntsville, Alabama, as a newly served market. The expansion is part of Allegiant's ongoing growth strategy and leisure-focused business model, which aims to connect non-hub cities with sunny vacation spots. Allegiant emphasized its ability to quickly adapt route planning to meet consumer demand in underserved regions.

The press release detailed that three new routes from Huntsville International Airport (HSV) will offer nonstop flights to Fort Lauderdale starting November 19, 2025; Sanford/Orlando launching February 12, 2026; and St. Petersburg/Clearwater set for March 5, 2026. Introductory fares will begin at $39 one-way. These additions are part of Allegiant's strategy to provide affordable direct flight options to Florida, facilitating easier travel for vacationers. The targeted schedule underscores the airline’s positioning as a value-driven and customer-responsive carrier.
