FedEx Corp. has named Kawal Preet as executive vice president of Planning, Engineering, and Transformation, effective October 1. Preet previously served as regional president for the Asia Pacific region since 2020. She will report directly to Raj Subramaniam, FedEx President and CEO, and join the FedEx Executive Committee.

Preet’s 28-year career at FedEx includes roles in operations, planning, and engineering. During her time leading the Asia Pacific region, she managed teams through challenging circumstances such as the pandemic and changes in global business conditions.

In her new position, Preet will lead the Transformation Office and oversee the DRIVE framework and related initiatives that are part of FedEx’s ongoing transformation strategy. She will also manage a global centralized planning and engineering function focused on network integration.

Her collaborative, thoughtful approach and commitment to excellence will further our progress toward a global integrated network as she leads a centralized planning and engineering team.”

A replacement for the regional president of APAC has not yet been announced.
