Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), also known as SeaTac, is recognized as a major hub on the West Coast of the United States. It serves as the home base for Alaska Airlines and hosts a range of international carriers that operate some of the longest nonstop flights from the airport.

According to data from Cirium.com, the ten longest nonstop routes scheduled from Seattle between January 1, 2025, and January 1, 2026, span destinations across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. The list highlights both carrier choice and aircraft type for each route.

The tenth longest route connects Seattle with Munich Airport in Germany. Operated by Lufthansa using an Airbus A350-900, this flight covers a distance of 8,503 kilometers. Munich serves as one of Lufthansa’s main hubs and provides access to other destinations in Germany and beyond.

Ninth on the list is Beijing Capital International Airport in China at 8,703 kilometers. Hainan Airlines operates this route with Boeing 787 Dreamliners. The connection supports not only passenger travel but also cargo movement between two major economic centers.

Delta Air Lines flies the eighth longest route to Shanghai Pudong International Airport in China using an Airbus A330-900neo over a distance of 9,208 kilometers. Delta has scheduled more than 360 flights for this route in 2025.

Seventh is Turkish Airlines’ service to Istanbul Airport in Türkiye. This route spans 9,771 kilometers and is operated by a Boeing 787 aircraft. Turkish Airlines has nearly 1,000 flights planned for this year on this corridor.

The sixth spot goes to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport near Taipei at 9,775 kilometers. Starlux, Delta Air Lines, and China Airlines collectively operate almost 1,000 flights annually between Seattle and Taipei using Airbus A350s and Boeing 787s.

Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport in China ranks fifth with Hainan Airlines operating Boeing 787 Dreamliners over a distance of 10,159 kilometers. There are about 53 scheduled flights serving up to 15,000 passengers annually on this transpacific link.

Fourth is Philippine Airlines’ service to Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila covering 10,719 kilometers with Boeing 777 aircraft. Nearly 170 round trips are planned for next year carrying approximately 63,000 travelers.

Qatar Airways’ flight to Hamad International Airport in Doha ranks third at a distance of 11,926 kilometers using Boeing 777 jets. Over the course of the year more than 360 flights are scheduled with up to 130,000 passengers expected.

Dubai International Airport comes second on the list at just over that distance—11,949 kilometers—with Emirates operating its fleet of Boeing 777s between Dubai and Seattle. More than 360 round trips are planned for next year serving up to approximately 120,000 customers.

The longest nonstop route from Seattle is Singapore Changi Airport at a distance of nearly half the globe—12,989 kilometers away. Singapore Airlines uses its Airbus A350-900 for these journeys with about 240 round trips planned for up to roughly 60,000 flyers during the year.
