Cirrus has marked a significant milestone with the delivery of its 10,000th SR series aircraft and 560 SF50 Vision Jets, positioning it as the third largest aviation manufacturer globally.

The landmark 10,000th SR Series aircraft, designated N10000, is currently on display at AirVenture. “From the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS) to the Perspective Touch+ flight deck, Cirrus continuously innovates to provide owners with personal aircraft that set the industry standard for aviation safety, luxury, convenience and ease of ownership. We are honored to celebrate 10,000 SR Series aircraft deliveries with our team members, partners and stakeholders,” stated Cirrus CEO Zean Nielsen in a July 22 press release.

Cirrus attributes this achievement to its ongoing innovation and ability to produce leading-edge products. One notable recent development is the introduction of Apple Vision flight training goggles that facilitate augmented reality walkarounds of aircraft.

At a press briefing during AirVenture, Todd Simmons, Cirrus Aircraft President of Customer Experience, discussed the company's expansion efforts. He highlighted new aircraft programs in Kissimmee, Florida; Scottsdale, Arizona; and McKinney, Texas. According to Simmons, most customers in the Cirrus management program are Vision Jet owners.

Simmons also observed shifts in customer demographics: before the pandemic, approximately 13% of Cirrus's customers were new to aviation. This figure surged to around 40% during the pandemic's peak but has since stabilized at about 29%.
