Federal Express Corporation (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp., has been recognized with the Silver Ribbon Mental Health Award for the fourth year in a row in Singapore. This award highlights FedEx's dedication to promoting mental well-being and creating a supportive workplace culture.

The Silver Ribbon Mental Health Award is presented by Silver Ribbon Singapore, an organization affiliated with the World Federation for Mental Health. It honors companies that excel in promoting mental health awareness and fostering a mental-health-friendly work environment. FedEx has introduced various initiatives to raise awareness about mental health, provide resources for employees, and encourage open discussions on mental well-being.

"Our employees are the heart of our operations, and their well-being is paramount. We believe that a supportive environment not only enhances productivity but also fosters a culture of compassion and understanding," said Eric Tan, managing director for FedEx Singapore. "Winning this award consecutively is a testament to our dedicated team and our strong people-first culture. We will continue to prioritize mental health and well-being as a core aspect of our workplace philosophy."

FedEx emphasizes employee mental well-being through its core value of 'Taking Care of Each Other'. The company offers programs such as talks and workshops on self-care and mindfulness, along with an online platform called 'Shall We Talk About Wellbeing' that provides valuable resources for employees.

In 2023, to mark World Mental Health Day, FedEx organized a Mental Health Month initiative offering support tools like employee packs and guides. The company also launched the "R U OK?" campaign encouraging meaningful conversations among team members by asking if they are okay. Activities such as "Action for Happiness" events and mental health quizzes were held to further promote awareness.

FedEx remains committed to creating an inclusive environment where every employee feels valued and supported. Its efforts in advocating for mental health not only benefit its workforce but also have positive impacts on the broader community.
