FedEx anuncia nueva ruta aérea entre Sudamérica y Miami

Federal Express Corporation, conocida como FedEx, ha anunciado una nueva ruta aérea que conectará a Argentina, Chile y Ecuador directamente con Miami. Esta iniciativa busca ofrecer a importadores y exportadores mayor capacidad de carga y acceso para sus productos en las Américas y el mundo. Humberto Lira, Vicepresidente de Operaciones de FedEx para América del Sur, señaló: “Este nuevo vuelo responde a las necesidades de nuestros clientes y reafirma el compromiso de FedEx con el crecimiento económico de la región”.

La nueva ruta será operada por un Boeing 767-300 con una capacidad de 42.565 kilos por vuelo. Permitirá mayor flexibilidad y mejor servicio para exportar a países dentro de la amplia red global de FedEx. El itinerario incluye múltiples frecuencias semanales comenzando en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Miami, pasando por el Aeropuerto Internacional de Ezeiza en Buenos Aires, Argentina; luego al Aeropuerto de Santiago en Chile; y haciendo una parada en el Aeropuerto Internacional Mariscal Sucre en Quito, Ecuador antes de regresar a Miami.

FedEx destaca su compromiso con potenciar el comercio internacional y las oportunidades para pequeñas y medianas empresas. Este nuevo vuelo beneficiará sectores clave como e-commerce, industrias farmacéutica y médica, agroindustria, tecnología y manufacturas. Además, facilitará el acceso directo desde Chile al Hub de Miami para productos perecederos.
