Princess Cruises has announced changes to its previously planned world cruise itinerary, now focusing on a four-month Pacific voyage. The decision was made due to ongoing unrest in the Red Sea region, which prompted the company to avoid sending ships through that area. As a result, ports in Europe have been replaced with new destinations in China, Japan, and Alaska.

The revised route for the Coral Princess includes two overnight stays in Bangkok and Hanoi, Vietnam, as well as 12 late-night departures from locations such as Honolulu, Tahiti, Auckland, Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Osaka. "This Circle Pacific Voyage is more than just an itinerary," said John Padgett, president of Princess Cruises. "It's an invitation to explore some of the Pacific's most iconic and remote destinations in a single unforgettable journey."

Departing on January 5, 2026, from Fort Lauderdale, the cruise will last 131 days and visit 60 destinations across 19 countries. For those preferring a shorter journey from the U.S. West Coast, there is also a 115-day segment starting January 21 from Los Angeles. Both cruises will conclude in Los Angeles on May 16.

Onboard activities include cooking and dance classes typical of Princess sailings along with themed deck parties and special entertainment unique to this voyage. Prices for inside cabins start at $32,549 per person for the longer trip and $28,309 for the shorter one.

For travelers with less time or budget constraints, several shorter segments are available. These include options like a 16-night Panama Canal crossing starting at $2,019 per person or a nine-day California coastal sailing beginning at $1,349 per person.

Passengers booking by December 31 will receive additional benefits under the Princess Premier package. This includes perks such as premium beverage packages and free specialty dining among others.
