Ken C., a Special Operations combat veteran, is now a safety and standards manager at Alaska Airlines. Ken shares his journey from military service to the airline industry, emphasizing the challenges faced by veterans transitioning to civilian life.
“That journey out of uniform is very challenging,” he stated. “If I can make that journey easier for others, that’s really rewarding.”
Ken actively supports fellow veterans through his involvement with Alaska’s Military, Veterans, and Allies Business Resource Group (BRG). This group aids job seekers, builds connections, and advocates for veterans. Additionally, Ken participates in programs like Honor Flight and the Fallen Soldier Program.
