Several travel enthusiasts from The Points Guy recently explored Uber Safari, a unique offering that connects Cape Town visitors with the Aquila Private Game Reserve. This service, available through January 2025, is part of Uber's "Go Anywhere" series. It offers door-to-door transportation from Cape Town to the reserve, about two hours away.

Uber Safari is designed to provide an accessible way for travelers to experience South Africa's wildlife. Frans Hiemstra, regional general manager of Uber in the Middle East and Africa, stated: "We've designed our 'Go Anywhere' series to help our customers book bucket list adventures with the Uber convenience they know and love." He described Uber Safari as one of their most adventurous offerings.

The trip includes a scenic drive west from Cape Town and features welcome drinks and lunch at the game reserve. Participants have the opportunity to see various animals such as lions, leopards, elephants, rhinoceros, and buffaloes. The tour lasts approximately three hours with guides available to enhance the experience by pointing out different animals.

Johan van Schalkwyk of Aquila Collection expressed enthusiasm about partnering with Uber: "We're excited to partner with Uber to extend our bucket list wildlife experiences to their customers." He emphasized that this collaboration combines modern convenience with natural beauty while supporting conservation efforts.

For those interested in booking this experience, reservations can be made via the Uber app until January 2025.
