Amangani, a luxury resort located in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, will temporarily close its doors on April 7, 2025, for a comprehensive renovation. The resort has been operational for 26 years and is renowned for its picturesque location at the base of the Tetons, attracting both regular visitors and skiing enthusiasts.
The renovation will involve complete overhauls of guest rooms and suites with new soaking tubs, fireplaces, and seating arrangements. The spa facilities will be expanded to include additional treatment rooms along with updated wellness zones designed to connect indoor and outdoor spaces. Restaurants and bars at the resort are also set to be redesigned and expanded.
Originally opened in 1998 with architecture reflecting the "pioneering spirit of the Old West," Amangani was designed by Ed Tuttle using redwood and sandstone. The upcoming renovations aim to preserve this aesthetic while introducing new elements such as indoor and outdoor fireplaces, lofted ceilings, and natural materials that enhance guests' connection with the surrounding landscape.
