Qatar Airways operates its Airbus A380 aircraft on select high-capacity routes from its hub at Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha. The airline's A380s are known for offering a luxurious experience, featuring one of the few first-class cabins available within the carrier's fleet and an onboard lounge area.

In 2025, Qatar Airways has scheduled 3,819 flights with the Airbus A380, providing nearly two million seats. According to data from Cirium, London Heathrow Airport (LHR) is a major destination for these flights, accounting for over 38% of all A380 services by Qatar Airways this year. The airline operates two daily round trips between Doha and London Heathrow using the superjumbo:

- QR11 (DOH 01:50 - LHR 06:25) and QR10 (LHR 08:35 - DOH 18:15).

- QR3 (DOH 07:40 - LHR 12:15) and QR4 (LHR 14:15 - DOH 23:55).

Other routes served daily or more by Qatar Airways' A380 include Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK), with around one flight per day throughout the year, and Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD), which sees daily rotations.

The remaining destinations served by Qatar Airways' A380s on a less frequent basis are Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and Perth Airport (PER). Paris is scheduled to receive varying frequencies ranging from eleven to thirty-one monthly flights depending on the month. In contrast, Perth will see daily services from January through May before frequencies drop in June.

Onboard Qatar Airways' Airbus A380s passengers can choose between three cabin classes: economy class with Recaro CL3710 seats configured ten-abreast on the lower deck; business class featuring Collins Aerospace Super Diamond flatbeds arranged four-abreast; and first-class suites laid out in a one-two-one configuration offering enhanced comfort amenities such as entertainment systems with larger displays.

Qatar Airways currently operates ten Airbus A380 aircraft averaging around ten years old each. Despite initial doubts about their future following grounding during COVID-19 pandemic early last decade CEO Akbar Al Baker confirmed their return into service since December2021 describing them as both valuable assets yet acknowledging past challenges associated operating such large planes.
