Delta's presence at Austin-Bergstrom (AUS) is expanding once again, this time with the addition of international service. This winter, Delta will commence its new nonstop, international flight from AUS to Cancun, Mexico (CUN). The daily, seasonal service is set to begin on December 20 and will run until mid- April 2026.

"Delta is the leading global network carrier at Austin-Bergstrom, operating nearly 60 peak day departures this winter," said Paul Baldoni, Delta's Senior Vice President of Network Planning. "This new service to Cancun adds yet another popular leisure destination for our Austin customers. "

The flight will operate on Delta's Airbus A320 aircraft equipped with First Class, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin options. SkyMiles Members traveling on this aircraft will have access to fast, free Wi-Fi onboard. Additionally, seat- back in-flight entertainment offering over 1,000 hours of content will be available.

In addition to the new route to Cancun, Delta will increase service between Austin and Orlando (MCO) to twice daily during the peak winter travel season. This provides both morning and afternoon flight options for Austin customers.

Further expanding its network from Austin, Delta has introduced twice-daily service to New Orleans starting February 27 and will begin daily nonstop service to Panama City, Florida (ECP) in March 2025. Other newly announced services include flights to Jacksonville (JAX), Indianapolis (IND), and Memphis (MEM) beginning in May 2025; San Francisco (SFO) and Tampa (TPA) starting in June 2025.
