dnata, a global air and travel services provider, has secured three multi-year contracts to deliver inflight catering services to Hainan Airlines, Tianjin Air, and Beijing Capital Airlines in Australia. The agreements will see dnata's teams at Melbourne International Airport (MEL) and Sydney International Airport (SYD) produce and uplift an estimated 380,000 meals annually for the three airlines.

The carriers are expected to operate a total of 19 weekly services connecting Melbourne with China, transporting approximately 200,000 passengers per year. Beijing Capital Airlines is the third airline within the former HNA Group to award a contract to dnata in Australia following recent agreements with Hainan Airlines and Tianjin Airlines.

Including these new contracts, dnata now provides catering and retail services in Australia to over 40 airline customers across nine airports with a workforce exceeding 4,000 hospitality professionals. In the financial year 2023-24, dnata Catering & Retail teams uplifted over 60 million meals for more than 250,000 flights within the country.

Globally, dnata's catering division is recognized as one of the leading inflight hospitality providers. With more than 10,500 catering professionals worldwide, it produces over 110 million meals annually serving full-service, low-cost, and VIP carriers from more than 60 locations.
