Aer Lingus has introduced its inaugural service between Dublin and Nashville, a city renowned for its country music and rapid growth. The first flight, using the 184-seat Airbus A321XLR, occurred on April 12, and operates four times weekly. This service not only targets local passengers but also provides connections to several European cities via Dublin, such as London, Rome, and Paris. Nashville is now Aer Lingus' eighth longest U.S. route and its longest single-aisle route ever scheduled.

Arajet, an airline based in the Dominican Republic, has launched its first U.S. service with flights from Santo Domingo to Miami. This new route began operations on April 11 and is set to become a daily service in June. Arajet plans to expand further in the U.S. market with upcoming routes to locations including San Juan and Newark. The airline intends to connect multiple Latin American cities with the United States.

Fiji Airways made headlines with its first-ever flights from Nadi to Cairns, Australia, on April 10. The new service operates three times weekly using Boeing 737 aircraft. This marks Fiji Airways' expansion to six Australian cities from its hub in Nadi, offering travelers connections to additional destinations like Los Angeles and San Francisco.

After a 14-year hiatus, nonstop flights between Munich and Calgary have resumed, thanks to German leisure airline Discover. The service started on April 12 and runs three times weekly until October 22, utilizing the Airbus A330-300. This marks Discover's second Canadian route after Halifax, expanding its reach from Canada into Europe.

BermudAir launched a new service from Bermuda to Raleigh/Durham on April 11. The flight operates twice weekly using the Embraer E175 aircraft. In 2025, BermudAir plans to serve 13 U.S. and Canadian destinations, enhancing connectivity between the two regions.

Icelandair initiated its first flight to Tennessee by connecting Reykjavik to Nashville on April 10. The route, offered four times weekly, uses the 160-seat Boeing 737 MAX 8. Icelandair is set to expand its U.S. operations with the introduction of a new Miami route in late October.

LOT Polish expanded its European network with flights from Warsaw to Reykjavik's Keflavik airport on April 12. This new direct service is scheduled year-round and represents LOT's second longest European connection. The airline faces competition on the route from both Wizz Air and PLAY.

Spirit Airlines launched two new routes from Atlanta to Columbus and San Antonio on April 9. These daily services mark Spirit's expansion in the Atlanta market, providing additional options amidst Southwest's reduced frequencies.

SAS resumed its Copenhagen to Madrid route on April 11, previously interrupted for over a decade. The service runs six times weekly on an Airbus A320neo, reinforcing SAS's presence alongside other carriers like Iberia and Ryanair. Additionally, SAS reintroduced its Copenhagen to Kraków route on April 10.

Edelweiss, a Swiss airline, inaugurated flights between Zurich and Tbilisi on April 12, filling a long-standing gap in the Georgian capital’s connectivity. These twice-weekly services with overnight schedules enhance passenger options alongside existing services from British Airways and easyJet.

Transavia France entered the Strasbourg to Istanbul market on April 8, following the withdrawal of Turkish Airlines. This new route adds to Transavia’s six Istanbul connections and serves predominantly local passengers.
