Delta Air Lines has initiated a new nonstop flight service from Boston to Barcelona, enhancing its connectivity with Spain. This service operates three times weekly and supplements Delta's existing routes to Barcelona from New York-JFK and Atlanta, which operate 12 and 10 times weekly, respectively.

Barcelona is known for its Mediterranean charm and the unique architecture of Antoni Gaudí. It ranks among the top ten most searched destinations on Delta.com for the summer of 2025. The city offers cultural landmarks such as the Sagrada Familia and Casa Milà, as well as a vibrant culinary scene.

The Boston–Barcelona route will be served by a 281-seat Airbus A330-900neo. Passengers can choose from four cabin experiences: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort, and Delta Main. In partnership with Italian fashion house Missoni, Delta One customers will receive exclusive bedding and amenity kits. Other features include lie-flat seats, four-course meals curated by chefs, and Taittinger Champagne.

Delta Premium Select provides additional space and comfort while Delta Comfort and Delta Main focus on service and entertainment. All passengers will have access to more than 1,000 hours of entertainment via Delta Studio. Furthermore, fast free Wi-Fi powered by T-Mobile is available on all transatlantic flights.

Delta also continues daily nonstop flights from New York-JFK and Atlanta to Madrid with seven weekly frequencies each. Madrid is noted for its nightlife, dining options, and art institutions like the Prado Museum.

Matteo Curcio, Delta’s Senior Vice President for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India said: “Barcelona and Madrid aren’t just destinations; they’re vibrant gateways to everything Spain has to offer.”

This expanded service aims to facilitate travel to Spain's attractions for both first-time visitors and returning travelers.
