Textron Aviation is set to showcase its largest lineup at the 2025 Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture fly-in show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The event will take place from July 21 to July 27. Textron, known for its iconic aircraft brands Beechcraft and Cessna, plans a significant display.

The static display will be located at booth #78 and feature nine aircraft and two cockpit mockups. Highlights include the Cessna Grand Caravan in a special livery for its 40-year anniversary and the Cessna Skyhawk 172 celebrating its 70th anniversary. According to Textron, this will be their largest static display ever.

The company expects to have the largest presence among original equipment manufacturers (OEM) at EAA. Notable aircraft include the Citation jet, with over 8,000 units made since 1969, and popular models like the Beechcraft King Air and Skyhawk.

Chris Crow, vice president of Piston Sales, remarked on the Skyhawk's anniversary: “With our ongoing dedication to innovation, including the recent enhancements to the Cessna piston lineup, we look forward to seeing the Skyhawk continue to inspire the journey of flight as the go-to aircraft for flight schools and private pilots across the world.”

The Cessna Skyhawk 172 remains a top choice in general aviation due to its enduring design and widespread use worldwide. Other variants like the Cessna 170 and Piper competitors are no longer produced due to lower demand.

Beechcraft’s King Air is also highlighted for its versatility in passenger and cargo transport as well as corporate aviation. It has been used by both civilian sectors and military branches such as the US Air Force and Navy.

Textron partners including McCauley Propeller Systems, Pipistrel Aircraft, Bell Helicopter, and Lycoming Engines will also have displays at EAA AirVenture.
