Los Angeles Airport Police have announced that a fatal traffic accident near Westchester Parkway and Sepulveda Boulevard has resulted in road closures and prompted traffic diversions. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.

According to the official X account of Los Angeles Airport Police, officers responded to the incident near Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), leading to immediate road closures and emergency activity in the area. Traffic accidents near LAX can disrupt both access to the airport and local commuting patterns, underscoring the critical need for real-time updates. As reported by the Los Angeles Times, previous major incidents in the vicinity of LAX have caused significant delays, with airport and city agencies collaborating to manage public safety and reroute vehicles as needed.

The closures currently affect Westchester Parkway & Sepulveda Blvd as well as southbound Lincoln/La Tijera Blvd, with police directing traffic away from these intersections toward alternative routes. Los Angeles Airport Police have instructed drivers to use Century Blvd and northbound Sepulveda entrances to maintain access to LAX.
